Open Shade Portraits

Got a chance to experiment with some open shade portraits. These shots were set up outside using a white seamless backdrop and natural lighting. The inspiration for these images are based on Richard Avedon’s work. Definitely check him out if you’ve never heard of him. His work is pretty amazing! A lot of high contrast black and white images that really focuses on the details of his subjects’ faces which really brings out the emotion from his subjects.
